Ivory Resolve
Challenge
Refine the original fashion portrait into a more controlled and sophisticated editorial image while preserving the true ivory tone, tailoring and material character of the garment. The challenge was to improve the relationship between skin, clothing and background, maintain accurate color separation across the ivory and teal details, and enhance the overall image without sacrificing texture, structure or the natural presence of the model.
Retouching
The image was refined through detailed tonal correction, selective Dodge & Burn and controlled skin work to improve transitions while preserving natural texture. The tailored coat received careful garment finishing to maintain its ivory character, recover subtle volume and preserve fabric texture, while the teal trim and buttons were balanced for cleaner material separation and color fidelity. Hair, hands and facial tones were refined for consistency, and the background was softened and graded into a more restrained neutral palette. Final color grading unified the model, tailoring and environment while maintaining a polished but natural editorial finish.
