Retouching should elevate a photograph without revealing the process behind it

I am a Brazil-based Senior Creative Retoucher and Post-Production Artist working acrossfashion, beauty, luxury product imagery and creative image-making. With more than 15 years of experience in the creative industry, my approach combinesmeticulous photographic craftsmanship with contemporary post-production — preservingtexture, material response and visual character while refining every element of the image.

Crafting Invisible Perfection

The highest level of retouching is rarely defined by what has been removed or altered.

It is defined by coherence.

Skin should remain skin. Fabric should retain its structure. Glass should behave like glass.Light, depth and texture should continue to belong to the same photographic world.

My work is built around that principle.

From subtle beauty refinement to complex compositing, the objective is never to create avisibly processed image. It is to make the photograph feel as though every element hadexisted perfectly in front of the camera.

The Invisible Frame

I refer to this approach as The Invisible Frame: post-production that supports the imagewithout becoming visible as technique.

It combines precision with restraint.

Natural skin texture remains intact.Hair retains fine detail.Fabric keeps its weave and dimensionality.Product materials respond naturally to light.Composite elements share the same atmosphere, perspective and depth.

The result should withstand close inspection while remaining effortless at first glance.

From Creative Direction to Final Pixel

My background in creative direction gives me a broader understanding of the role animage plays within a campaign.

Retouching is therefore never treated as an isolated technical task.

Composition, visual hierarchy, color, typography environments, campaign context andbrand language all influence the final decisions made during post-production.

This allows me to collaborate not only as an executor, but as a creative partner throughoutthe finishing process.

Direct Creative Supervision

For larger productions, workflows can scale to support demanding commercial volumesand international delivery schedules.

Final retouching, color, visual coherence and finishing remain under my direct creativesupervision.

This provides the scalability required by agencies and brands without compromising theconsistency of the final work.
